ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
Pobal is a not for profit company providing services to, and on behalf
of, the Irish Government and various EU bodies in support of social
and economic development and peace building in Ireland. Pobal manages
a range of social inclusion services for the Department of Rural and
Community Development, Department of Health, Department of Social
Protection and the Department of the Environment, Climate and
Communications.
This is a new post with the postholder being ultimately responsible
for the onboarding of significant new programmes to Pobal in **Apply
on the website** and **Apply on the website**. They will be
responsible for the operationalisation of these programmes after the
initial set up period also. The Manager is responsible for ensuring
key programme components are designed, planned, implemented, and
reported effectively. The Manager is also responsible for developing
the programme knowledge within Pobal and leading on the solutioning of
programme design issues and implementation challenges.
This will include:
* Being the owner on behalf of Pobal of programme requirements and
change requests including being responsible for its delivery and the
associated budget;
* Provision of overall direction on programme delivery requirement,
programme content and programme standard operating procedures;
* Providing appropriate and effective change request management and
programme quality assurance;
* Being responsible for safeguarding programme delivery - providing
the key point of contact for programme issue escalation and
resolution;
* Managing partner agreements / performance metrics and management
reporting for assigned programmes;
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of a credible and
professional relationship with key stakeholders;
* Accountable for resource allocated through negotiation.
* Being responsible for the servicing and resolution of queries,
audits and examinations associated with the assigned programmes;
* Responsibility for the performance/staff management of the team
and key relationships.
